Where the volcano and the Atlantic meet
Tenerife concentrates in 2,034 km² landscapes that would occupy entire countries in other places: a volcano of 3,718 meters, forests that existed before the last glaciation and a dry and windy south where the sea is the protagonist.
This variety is especially noticeable in Granadilla de Abona, in the southeast: an agricultural municipality that goes down from the mountain to the Médano, one of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing spots in Europe, with the red mountain as a backdrop.
